Richard Baird assumed the duties as Hopewell’s Worship/Senior Adult Pastor on January 8, 2017. Richard
has been in full-time ministry since 2001. He served as Director of Media at Olford Ministries International; Director of Media and Music Administration at Germantown Baptist; and as Minister of Music at Evangel Church in Memphis, TN.

In August of 2020, as part of a staff re-alignment, Richard’s ministry responsibilities shifted along with the others and he is now the Worship Pastor and Facilities Administrator.
Richard and his wife, Liz, have a son, Bennett, and daughter, Jesse. His dynamic leadership is a great addition to our staff and church.
