Debbie Wilson

Debbie Wilson, BSW has served as the Pre-School Director at Hopewell Baptist Church since 2014. Prior to this she served alongside her late husband, Dr. Johnny Wilson, THD for 16 years at Hopewell in the children’s and pre-school departments. Debbie brings more than 20 years of experience working with children, young mothers and their families. She has a heart for missions and has been involved with missions throughout the U.S., Canada and Germany. Debbie received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of North Alabama and has actively served families throughout Hardin County for over 10 years.  Debbie is an experienced professional whose areas of specialization include early childhood development, working with children with physical and developmental disabilities and working with at risk mothers and families.

Debbie has two adult sons, Colby (wife: Jennifer) and Blake (wife: Brooke) and she has five grandchildren: Jonah, Matthew, Hayden, Alley and Finley.
